If there are no officers on the take, the money and assets are stashed in police custody until the end of all court sessions. If the person is not guilty, it is returned. If they are found guilty, the money goes towards new police vehicles, drug awareness programs for schools, and other community things along those lines. Assets are sold at auction to the highest bidder (see: bidforassets.com) and the money is distrubuted toward additional programs, such as cameras at redlights and the like.
