What does LH SURGE MEAN?
LH is the leutenising hormone which surges as ovulation occurs. Detecting the LH surge is a sign ovulation has occured that cycle. Home ovulation kits can detect the surge, however if you wish to conceive, you need to make sure you have intercourse just before the surge to ensure a healthy supply of sperm is present in the fallopian tubes when the egg is released.
