What does the Lee Student Health Center provide to Barton College students?
The Lee Student Health Center provides treatment for minor illnesses and injuries as well as counseling services by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The Health Center also provides education on a broad range of health and wellness issues. TDaP, Meningococcal, and influenza vaccines are offered for a fee. Tuberculin skin tests are also available for a nominal fee. Urinalysis and testing for pregnancy and strep throat are provided in the Health Center as needed at no cost to the student. Over-the-counter medications such as pain relievers, antihistamines, etc. are available free of charge. Referrals to community organizations, clinics, and hospitals are made as needed.
