What does the message “ASE Hardware Not Installed” mean when I start the test set scanning or monitoring?

0

When the test set performs any I/O operation, it checks to make sure that at least one piece of ASE hardware is installed on the computer. The presence of ASE hardware (BCOM2 card, PCMCIA card, or Sentinel Security Plug) is necessary to enable the ASE2000 software. If one of these is not installed, the correct driver is not installed or if there is a hardware problem with the card, the “ASE Hardware Not Installed” will be displayed. If you feel it is a hardware problem, contact ASE technical support.
