Update on Security Measures As a result of terrorist threats in the UK a number of security measures have been put in place for flights bound for and originating in the United States. These measures do not affect flights to other destinations including the United Kingdom. For flights originating in the U.K. please see restrictions further below. Since policies may vary by airline we recommend to check with your airline prior to departure. Effective September 26, for flights bound for and originating in the United States the United States Department of Homeland Security has revised the restrictions as follows: Travellers will be allowed through checkpoints with carry-on luggage that contains travel-sized toiletries in containers of three ounces or less and must “fit comfortably in ONE quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag”.
