What happens if Datahounds needs to order parts to fix my drive?
Datahounds will bill you the market price for the parts that we need to order to fix your drive. One the drive is fixed, we can extract data from it. The cost for most “donor drives” is less then $100.00. This is in addition to our $249 service fee. In many cases, we order a drive that matches your drive and use the parts from it to perform a temporary repair.
