What happens on “typical” visits?

On each visit the patient is examined to determine if the spine is out of its normal alignment. Areas that are mis-aligned are gently re-aligned. During the course of a patient’s treatment, they will receive advice on how to safely perform their daily activities. Stretching/strengthening programs may be introduced, and patients will receive other forms of health education. This allows the patient to learn how to take better care of their spine and prevent future problems. Knowledge is a powerful tool, and we encourage patients to learn all they can in order to maximize their recovery.
