What Happens When Wayne Dyer Meets Schrodingers Cat?
I was watching Wayne Dyer on TV a couple of days ago, during the Georgia Public Television Pledge Drive. He was speaking on the “power of intention” and how thoughts manifest into reality. And I remembered reading about the cat in John Gribbin’s “In Search of Schrodinger’s Cat” (a great book on understanding quantum physics without a Ph.D.), and how if you placed radioactive material along with a phial of poison and a live cat into a box, it would be possible that the radioactive material would decay, breaking the phial of poison and killing the cat. But the only way to find out was to open the box and see if that had happened. And until actually observing the opened box there only existed a possibility of a live or a dead cat. Often times I surprise myself by finding a parking space exactly where I want it. And I began wondering, would the space still be available if I did not place my intention on it. Because until I drive around to it, it merely exists as a potential space that may
