What health problems can damp and mold cause?
6 month olds will get lots of infections, regardless of any damp. Some kinds of mold can be very dangerous, but the chances are what you have is fairly harmless. All property will have some mould hiding in them. The landlord does have an obligation to deal with any serious problem. I suggest contacting the CAB to see what advice they can give you.
