What if Im a resident of Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man?
All the registration numbers available for sale can only be assigned to vehicles registered on the British Mainland, i.e. England, Scotland, Wales. Once the registration number has been properly assigned to a GB vehicle it may be transferred to a different vehicle registered in GB or Northern Ireland (but not the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man).
