What is a certified diploma?
A certified diploma is a photocopy of an original diploma that is stamped and signed as to be a true photocopy of the original by an authorised employee of the educational institute that awarded the original diploma. The certified diploma should be sent to the ISHSS in a closed envelope, sealed by the person who certified it. It is not necessary for the application procedure to certify your diploma by a notary, or to legalise/verify it by embassy/consulate personnel.
