What is a Child and Family Investigator (CFI)?

0

A CFI is a court appointed professional who investigates, reports and make recommendations to the court regarding the best interest of a child in domestic situations. When parents are unable to reach agreement regarding the children a CFI offers an objective and investigative viewpoint. CFI’s offer a professional child and family investigative service working as an extension of the court system to examine families of high conflict divorce. It is our job to interview, assess, and make recommendations to the court regarding parenting time and decision making abilities. On each case we work as a team to confidently make recommendations that are well researched and based on facts.
