What is a “Session”?
A Session is an Audio / Visual protocol used to specify the target brainwave frequencies across a timeline. Chart objects with points are used to edit and represent a session’s content. Brainwaves are represented vertically while time is horizontal, starting at 0.An audio/visual session is structured to affect the brain in very specific ways, through a complex neurological process called Brainwave Entrainment (click here for more details). Brainwave entrainment has over 70 years of research behind it. During this time, a variety of brainwave patterns have been associated with specific mental states, disorders and even bodily functions. As a result, sessions can serve a huge variety of purposes, from Relaxation, Hypnosis and Meditation all the way up to enhancing cognition and helping with mood disorders.A wide variety of sessions are included with Mind Stereo, and many more are available in the Member’s Library, which you will have access to after purchase.
