What is an Air Process Systems Evaporative Cooling System?
An Air Process Systems Evaporative Cooling System is typically a cylindrical structure through which hot exhaust gases from any combustion process are passed before being discharged to a baghouse filter, electrostatic precipitator or the atmosphere. While passing through the tower, the gases are sprayed with a cooling liquid to reduce the temperature and volume of the gases so that they can be efficiently handled by a baghouse or an electrostatic precipitator. Air Process Systems Evaporative COOLING SYSTEMS are sized to handle the volume of hot gases passing through the tower, allowing enough time in the tower to provide sufficient heat transfer to achieve the desired discharge temperature.
