What is e-mail forwarding?
The e-mail forwarding service allows you to forward e-mails sent to ‘someone@yourdomain.com’ onto an existing e-mail account, so that you may collect them. For example you may have a Hotmail account e.g. ‘your_name@hotmail.com’. Any email messages that are sent to ‘someone@yourdomain.com’ can be automatically redirected to your existing Hotmail address. Alias E-mail Forwarder An Alias E-mail Forwarder allows you to forward a specific email addresses at your domain name e.g. ‘info@yourdomain.com’ to the destination email address specified. info@yourdomain.com —–> you@existingemail.
E-mail forwarding allows you to have all e-mail sent to your domain to be forwarded to a private e-mail address that you specify. For example, mail sent to anything@customerdomain.com, could be configured to go to:customermail@hotmail.com. To do this, we set up your MX Record to point to one of our mail servers, then configure the server to forward mail to your account. The cost for this is 3 US dollars per domain per year.
