What is the correct way to cancel a position vacancy posting?
The best way to cancel a position vacancy posting (especially if it is a posting you may want to do at a later date) you may changed the posting and/or closing dates to prevent the vacancy from being selected as a valid vacancy to be posted on the OSP website. For example, if posting was for 03/05/2008 – 03/12/2008 and today is 03/02/2008, you would change the posting and closing dates to 03/01/2008 – 03/01/2008. If you absolutely do not wish to retain the vacancy posting record, you should call BEST Shared Services and request that the Job Vacancy Posting (Infotype 9025 and related infotypes) be deleted.
