What is the difference between an Open League and a Coed League?

The open leagues have no gender restriction. If a league is marked as co-ed then there are rules regarding how many male and female players must be on the court at any time (a minimum of 2 females and 2 males on the field at any time). With the open league, anyone can play, but there are no restrictions as to the balance of the teams, so teams could be all male, 4 males and one female, or all female: it is entirely up to the team and the captain.
