The Windows Azure Content Delivery Network (CDN) is used to deliver static files from Windows Azure Storage to users around the world. All content is “public readable” from the CDN and is optimized for end-user delivery. Microsoft project code named Velocity is an in-memory cache of application objects for fast access by executing services.
