Unfinished flooring is installed and after a period of acclimation the flooring is then job-site sanded and finished. Custom colors may be selected with an unfinished floor. Factory finished flooring is sanded and finished during the manufacturing process and only needs to be installed. The consumer must select from the limited colors the manufacturer’s supply.
