What is the expected installation/activation time for my new XIT service?
Landline – Your home phone service will be activated within five working days from the time you sign up for service. If construction is required to your premise location, the service will be activated within 30 days from when you sign up for service. XIT recommends you plug a phone in to a jack and check it periodically for service.Wireless – Your wireless phone will be activated at the time you sign up for service and will be working when you leave our office.Internet Dial-up – Your dial-up Internet service will be activated in the system the same day you sign up for service. Once you install XITNET on your computer, using the disk provided by XIT, your Internet service will be working.Internet DSL – High speed Internet service is available the same day service is requested. If you should need a modem, an appointment must be scheduled with an XIT technician for installation, which is scheduled within three working days.
