What is the introduced species of deer that live in North America?

Not sure what you mean…Over a dozen species of non-native deer have been introduced into North America over the last hundred and fifty years. They do not survive well. North American native deer are the eastern white tail, the western black tail, the mule deer, and the wapiti (also called elk). The moose is also a native deer. The ‘caribou’ is native to Alaska and Canada. It is also called the ‘reindeer’ and is identical to the reindeer of Scandinavia and Siberia. There has been some transfer of reindeer from North America to Scandinavia and the reverse in order to diversify the genetic inheritance of the species in both areas.
