The MLS is an extensive database of property listed by Realtors. When a potential buyer contacts an agent to shop for a home, the agent will search the MLS for properties meeting their criteria. By listing your home in the MLS – agents will show your property because a ‘co-op’ (commission) will be paid to them at closing. To gain the greatest exposure you need to be in the MLS.
