This year’s favorite is I Want Revenge, which is a pretty badass name. Generally speaking they try to reject offensive, suggestive, or obscene names. So if I Want Revenge was instead I Want Your Mom, his name would probably get rejected. In 1968, Dancer’s Image became the first horse to win the Kentucky Derby and then be disqualified after traces of a prohibited anti-inflammatory drug (phenylbutazone) were found in the horse’s urine samples. The so-called Jose Canseco of ponies is the first and last horse to ever be disqualified from the Derby.
