What is the procedure for turning off the equipment?
Press the “standby “button to turn off the bulb. Do NOT do anything else to the projector until the cool down cycle is complete in about 90 seconds. (You will be able to tell this is complete when the fan stops and the orange light stops blinking. While the bulb is cooling, you may shut the computer down closing all programs; then go to “start”; choose “shutdown and turn off.” If you used the yellow network cable, unplug it and wind it back on the cart. DO NOT UNPLUG THE POWER CORD until the projector has completed its cooling cycle. 5% of the bulb’s life is lost any time the bulb is not cooled properly. Additionally, if the projector is not cooled completely, the projector will not turn back on for 45 minutes or longer. So if you are moving to another room, the projector will not come back on! Return the cart to T113.
