AVONEX has a low (5%) incidence of neutralizing antibodies. In the EVIDENCE study, the incidence of neutralizing antibodies was 12 times higher in the Rebif (Interferon beta-1a) treatment group than in the AVONEX treatment group. The clinical significance of neutralizing antibodies is unknown.
