What kind of herbicides will be used?
The Town of Mt. Crested Butte has been spraying for weeds for many years and remains committed to using non-restrictive herbicides. All herbicides will be used responsibly and according to label instructions. Spot spraying will be favored over broadcast spraying wherever possible. Herbicides will be selected based on low volume usage rates, quick biodegradability in soil and water and low toxicity ratings.
