What method should be used to collapse the Expandable Batons?
Unlike other expandable batons, you need only tap the extended cap sideways on a smooth surface until the locking swedges are loosened. Quickly push the baton closed with the palm of your hand. There’s no need, to close the baton by pounding the striking end cap down onto the concrete, which eventually destroys the end cap and certainly isn’t a very healthy or comfortable procedure for the officer.
