Twenty years after his last adventure, Indiana Jones is back to uncover the mysteries of the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. But he’s just the first of August’s champions of adventure who range from traditional good guys like Prince Caspian, Iron Man and X-Filers Mulder and Scully to more unusual heroes like Igor, Penelope, Space Chimps and Eddie Murphy’s alien oddball in Meet Dave. We’ve also got a variety of rebellious types in Wild Child, Never Back Down, Brideshead Revisited and Death Race, and some rather less savoury characters in The Cottage, Skinwalkers and The Strangers.
