Abington specialists perform the coiling procedure on ruptured or unruptured aneurysms, with or without the placement of intracervical or intracranial stents. Our neurointerventionalists use the Merci® clot retrieval device to remove the clot once it is embolized. Using catheter-based procedures, they are able to perform the complete spectrum of minimally invasive procedures, thus avoiding craniotomies in many cases.
