WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO SAFEGUARD AGAINST DUST IGNITION?

• While the EnviroStrip® products are more difficult to ignite than most other blast abrasives (including plastic media), adequate ventilation is always required. A properly designed and built ventilation exhaust system, dust collector and fresh air make-up must be used. Precautions should be taken to minimize any build-up of dust inside the blast area. Minimize horizontal surfaces where dust can collect. Daily housekeeping (dust removal) rules should be followed. Any source of ignition and/or fire must always be controlled. Consult with local and State Laws, EPA and OSHA regulations.
