What sort of appraisal system does SunGard have?
You and your manager should regularly review your key job responsibilities and your goals/targets for the year ahead. Your manager will be responsible for carrying out objective goal setting, development planning and an individual formal appraisal with you at least once a year. This is designed to ensure that you have an opportunity to discuss your past and future performance and put in place suitable plans for your learning and growth. It will also assist SunGard in making accurate and objective assessments of you, particularly with regard to compensation reviews and your future development. In addition to this formal appraisal process, you can expect to receive informal feedback from your manager on a regular basis. You should feel free to talk to your manager at any time about your performance or any other aspect of your job.
