What was JAMES HUTTONS THEORY-WHAT DID HE SAY ABOUT ROCKS??
If I remember right, he was the guy who came up with the theory that the rocks which make up the earth’s crust were laid down in layers and it was possible to determine the age of the rocks by whereabouts they came in the “sandwich” He also had a theory about something called “Hutton’s Unconformity” so I suggest you google for that
