What was the feedback from the September-October 2007 consultation?
Eight major themes were identified in the feedback. The 2 biggest themes were the importance of appropriate terminology and the suitable place for elder abuse in the standards. The remaining six themes concerned the need for something about brokerage, the growing importance of culturally sensitive service provision, measurability, special needs groups, mutual recognition and social independence.
