What was the nationality of Jesus Christ?
Of course he was a Jew, but that is a religion (and a familial tribe). As for nationality, he would have been a citizen of Roman occupied Judea (having been born in Bethlehem or beyt le’chem – house of bread). The fact that he lived in Nazareth (in the northern country of Israel separate at that time from Judea in the south) would not have made him a citizen. However, I’m sure Jesus would have considered himself a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven…
