I arrived late to the dance when it came to my appreciation for Twitter. I just didn’t understand what would possess someone to broadcast the minutiae of everyday life. But then very smart people, whose writings I absorb, embraced the platform to the extent of a minute’s downtime would call for the creators’ heads. These folks were sharing discoveries, experiences and ideas with people of like minds. Right? Epiphany! I could design my own group of digerati, literati, *erati, etc and effectively create a crowd-sourced stream of up to the second, valuable information. And of course, I would contribute to the effort and join the conversation. Well, that was the plan anyway. Unfortunately, some tweeters are quite prolific. So much so, that they force tweets from other, less verbose but equally interesting, individuals out of view.
