Dried red tart cherries are prepared in accordance with good manufacturing practices by infusing whole red tart pitted cherries in a sugar solution and subsequently drying the infused cherry to a specific moisture content. Sunflower oil is topically applied. The dried fruit is quality analyzed and visually inspected before packaging. Store in a cool dry location. Preferably store between 40 – 50 degrees. An occasional pit may be present. |
