Testing can be performed before the child is born through Amniotic Fluid. Testing can be performed at delivery. There are no age restrictions for testing. What Kind of Sample Are Needed? Buccal Swab (mouth swab) at additional cost. (Results are same from any DNA Sample) A Blood Sample (when requested). Hair follicle and tissue along with many more sample types. (ask one of our Case Managers for more information) Time Frame for Results Upon receiving all samples at the Lab, for a standard case, approximate time is 7 days. (NOT business days) Results are mailed to the clients. No results will be given by telephone. The Paternity Test Fee The fee for a “standard case” (alleged father, mother and one child) is $450.00. An Anonymous Test (Home Collection) can be done for $400.00 (No Collection Fees) There may be a sample collection fee which varies from city to city.
