When did Dr. Jose Rizal write The Lost Eden?

The Lost Eden by Dr. Jose Rizal is originally known as Noli Me Tangere. It was written by Dr. Jose Rizal when the Spanish conquered the Philippines long time ago. It literally means “Touch Me Not” in Spanish (as it was originally written in Spanish as well). Noli Me Tangere is a Spanish-language novel by Filipino writer and national hero José Rizal, first published in 1887 in Berlin. The novel is commonly referred to by its shortened name Noli; the English translation was originally titled The Social Cancer, although recent publications have retained the original Latin. The Noli was inspired by the American Novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin. It’s a very good book.
