Whenever I press the DVI button I get an “Illegal Operation” circle in the top left of the screen. What should I do to change to the desired DVI mode?

In order to change DVI modes, all disc playback needs to be stopped. Press the Stop button to stop all disc playback. Press the DVI button on the remote to cycle to the desired DVI output mode. Resume playback by pressing the Play button.
