Where in the world is Polson, Montana and why is MYLS being held there?
Good question! Polson is on the south end of Flathead Lake on Montana Highway 93 approximately 65 miles south of Kalispell and 65 miles north of Missoula. MYLS is being held in Polson because Catalyst, the student ministry of New Life Christian Center, was given the unique opportunity of hosting Jeanne for whatever kind of event we wanted her to do. We think letting the youth leaders of Montana interact with her experience and heart would make the biggest impact. We want to leverage this opportunity for all of us, not just for our local team. Montana’s Next Generation Ministries, the state leadership for the Assemblies of God has partnered with Catalyst to make MYLS part of their 2009 training events.
