Where is the Antichrist Now?
We know where the Antichrist is, because God has revealed it to us. One cannot find the Antichrist by “observing”, for it takes revelation from the Spirit of God to find him. That is why Paul asserted that before our Lord’s return there is to be a “falling away” from the faith and a revealing of “that man of sin” – the Antichrist. “Let no man deceive you by any means. For that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” 2 Thess.2:3-4. This falling away is not a denial of faith itself; rather, it is a corruption of the faith. A rejection of all faith would deceive no one, but Satan’s corruption of the faith of Christ has deceived many.
