Where is the Best Bar Scene in Nashville, Tennessee?
I had a wonderful evening at Mulligans!!! The service was superb, the food was ok for American food…..salt on the chips!!????….you folks call them “french fries”…we Brits call them “chips”. One day you Yanks will realise that salt on everything really isn’t good for you!! The music was brilliant but sadly Yanks dont know the words to the songs so there was no singing along. In the UK and Ireland this would have been the high point……….all singing along together!! Most Yanks have never even heard of Manchester so “Dirty Old Town” was lost on the audience……just as much as “Leaving of Liverpool” was and what this song means to so many Irish American descendants. The band played my request for the “Londonderry Air”…….”Danny Boy” to many… but the Yanks in the audience didnt have to respect to listen to the words of this wonderful song.A great place to eat and listen to and singalong with lovely music. “Wild Rover” is a classic Irish song…………….. I ho
Tribe has really changed since i last been there. it is really peaceful. Not Peaceful like an old age home like the the trax, but just a get away from the drama filled bubble gum babies next door. The bartenders are nice and the people whom go there are just all trying to have a good time. Furthermore, wednesday is dollar wells,so it very inexspensive to get a good buzz. However, wear good shoes cause u will be standing at the bar for a while waiting for your drinks. But I warn you to not order from that blond bartender,I order a blue valium and he poured a glass of water and put some blue food colouring in it. Least thats what it tasted like.Pros + wednesdays and thursdaysCons – long waits, and blue water
All i can say is I have had the true Nashville experience right at The Stage on Broadway. This place undoubtedly has some of the greatest upcoming stars. I’d have to say that the best live music I’ve ever heard came that night from Mitchell Oglesby and his band. THIS GUY CAN SING! I found his website after doing some googling. http://www.mitchelloglesby.net. Everyone in the bar had a great time dancing and listening to the great country music. I couldn’t believe how friendly everyone was and the bartenders were great. If you’re looking for the true nashville experience, then this place is THE BEST!Pros + Mitchell Oglesby, Bar/Bartenders, Friendly enviornment
Brought my girlfriend here on a busy saturday night last week…we must’ve come in at the perfect time because we sat at the bar and then after us a crew of like 50 regulars rolled in. it was pretty awesome with everybody joking and talking and sharing wine and drinks with everybody else (even us!). saffire must have a monopoly on fun for a restaurant bar. the restaurant floor filled up too, and there was a jazz band playing. they were pretty good, though no singer–just instrumental. liked the music, food was great, atmosphere was awesome, and our service was fantastic. highly recommend it for a good time and good foodPros + food, atmosphere, service, BARCons – crowded bar on busy nights
