They made some very successful and funny movies during the 1930s and Groucho became a TV star in the 1950s. The three most famous ones were Groucho ( blackpaint moustache, loping stride, cigar and leer ), Harpo ( never spoke, used a bicycle horn, played the harp ), Chico ( played the piano and wise-cracked during the movies ). Two other brothers appeared sporadically, Zeppo and Gummo, and helped as managers. Groucho had another major career on TV as the host of You Bet Your Life.
