Who can drive with a student who has a temporary license?
Any student between the age of 15 1/2 and 16 years of age who holds a validated driving permit can only drive with a parent, legal guardian, or licensed driving instructor. Any person who is older than 16 years of age and holds a validated temporary driving permit can drive with a licensed driver over the age of 21 years. The licensed driver must be seated in the passenger’s seat while the student is driving.
