New Zealand: Your parent, siblings, relatives or employer. Sponsors other than parents need to provide compelling reasons/justification for sponsoring you. Australia: Your parents, brother, sister and grandparents only. Uncle or Aunt can only be sponsors if they are Australian or New Zealand permanent residents or citizens.
