Who is Nefertum, The Egyptian God?
Nefertum was the Egyptian god of perfumes and aromatics and the god of the morning sun. He was the son of Ptah and brother of Imhotep. He is symbolized by humun plumed headdress, holding a lotus scepter, a curved saber, or the ankh that emerged from a lotus flower and return at night. He was also seen as a lion with a mummy’s body. He was a figure in the chemistry of fragrant oils that was an important in Egyptian science.
