Who should take Ambien?
Ambien is not recommended for use in pregnant or nursing women. The safety and efficacy in patients below the age of 18 have not been established. Your doctor may recommend a lower dose if you are elderly, have liver problems, have lung/breathing problems or suffer from depression. Only your healthcare provider can tell you for sure if you should or not take Ambien.
