Why are plants and animals interdependent?

0

Plants give animals what they need; the products of photosynthesis are oxygen and glucose. However, the plants need carbon dioxide and water (and sunlight, as “photo” means light) for photosynthesis. Animals give the plants what they need; the products of cellular respiration are carbon dioxide and water. But animals need glucose (basically means sugar, it gives the animals energy, it’s food for them) and water (along with oxygen) for cellular respiration. If you don’t understand what cellular respiration is, you might understand this. Photosynthesis is to plants as cellular respiration is to animals. To make it simpler, plants give animals what they need, and in return, animals give plants the stuff they need.
