Why are Rhetorical questions used in Poetry?
Hi. Me again. I’m writing a combined poetry essay about poetry techniques. The first technique I’m writing about is Rhetorical Questions. I know what they are (Questions that don’t require an answer) I was just wondering if someone could help me think why exactly they are used in poetry. I think I used to know but I’ve forgotten… The first poem I’m writing about is “The Charge of the Light Brigade” By Alfred, Lord Tennyson, if you want to read it on the internet.
