Every ask yourself the question: “Just why are young kids obese?” Here are four things that cause obesity in young kids: 1) Not enough exercise: Children are meant to exercise in order to burn the calories that they consume during the day. Not exercising can lead to the calories building up to be stored as fat. After months of not exercising, the calories that would normally be burned are stored up in extra pounds of fat. 2) Fast Foods and Junk Foods: Fast food and junk foods are very calorie dense. Meaning that they are very high in calories. Children who regularly eat fast foods are more likely to become unhealthy and overweight. Just taking your child away from the fast food can make a big difference in their obesity. 3) Stress: Studies show that children who are under stress are much more likely to eat more than they need.
